Ingo, Keely and Nira, 3 captive wolves living at Wolf Timbers

Wolf Timbers received word that Dr. Erich Klinghammer, Wolf Park’s founder, passed away October 6, 2011. Dr. Klinghammer will be sorely missed and through the continued existence of not only Wolf Park but of all wolf education facilities including Wolf Timbers, his mission to educate and inform others on canids, particularly wolves, shall be carried on.

Dr. Klinghammer was instrumental in assisting the staff of Wolf Timbers in the planning and development of Wolf Timbers in the beginning stages. He continued to offer suggestions, support and guidance on various issues.

Our hearts and prayers go out to his family, the staff of Wolf Park and the thousands of individuals he has touched through his work and the work of his staff.

A true pioneer.

We're sorry to report that Ingo has passed away.
